You will be asked to provide introductory information about you & the nature of your legal issue(s).

 

Following your registration as a potential new client, you will receive a consultation of up to 30-minutes. This preliminary discussion is free of charge.

 

It is hoped that this initial discussion will assist you in determining your rights, and options.

 

We on the other hand, will determine if there is any conflict(s) of interest in representing you.  Plus, we will determine if what you are requesting and/or need is within our scope of practice. 

 

If it is determined that we can help, and you would like to retain us, a preliminary Client Number will be issued to you. 

 

We will provide you with:

(1) Retainer Agreement, along with

(2) Money Retainer request will be sent to you. 

 

In addition, a request for information and/or a list of documents, we require from you to begin our process, will also be sent to you.

Lawyers / Legal Practitioners, Human Resources, Insurance companies, & other professionals can inquire about our Alternative Dispute Resolution Services:

(1) Mediation / Arbitration,

(2) On-line Dispute Resolution – all aspects of mediation / arbitration are done on-line [including caucusing in virtual breakout rooms],

(3) Negotiation

 

Potential Requesters of any of our Alternative Dispute Resolution Services:

(1) will be asked to provide some basic/introductory information

(2) will be invited to speak to us for a free preliminary consultation of up to 30 minutes

 

If it is determined that we can help & you would like to retain us, you will receive –

Requesters for Notary Services

·  will be asked to provide preliminary information about them & the   nature of the Notary services being requested

· will be offered an initial preliminary consultation of up to 30     minutes to determine if we can be of assistance

 

If it is determined that we can help:

· a Notary-Customer Number will be issued

· a Simple Notary-Retainer Agreement will be sent to you

· a Notary-Money Retainer request will be sent to you

· a list of information we require from you to begin our process will also be sent to you.

Make Payments – Through this Portal you can:

 

·     E-transfer your payments to us through your <bank’s on-line service>,

·           Use PayPal through the on-line www.PayPal.ca service, and/or

·     Use LawPay through our payment portal (Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover, are accepted)

Ø      The current expected cost to you for using LawPay is 2.45% of the transaction value plus $0.20 per transaction. For example, for a payment of $100 the current expected cost to you would be $2.45 + .20 = $2.65 This cost will appear in our bill to you and represents nothing more than what LawPay charges us.
